You are THE BOSS
Myself and my friend Arasan were doing this analysis on a fine evening (that is today) while I am returning from office. Ofcourse the discussion was about Sivaji. What else can be the discussion at this moment. In NJ, all the shows were sold out for the weekend. There are about 18 shows and the theatre can accomodate a minimum of 500 people. That comes around (let me open my calc) huh around 9000. The ticket price is $16 which makes it around 150 K. That is nearly Rs 60 Lakhs. There are around 34 center in US. If you consider an average of 10 housefull show, it will be 10*34*500*16 (let me again open calc) 11 crores, so it will end up at 15 - 20 Crores in a weekend. Considering Europe, Japan and other countries it will be around 50 crores. In Tamilnadu, consider there are about 90 A center's. Average people watching this weekend is 1000 and amount is 200. There will be nearly 16 shows, the turnover will be 16*90,000*200, it will be around 29 Crores, considering Andhra and Kerala the least turnout by this weekend will be minimum 90 - 100 Crores.
